The Boeing Company’s Enterprise Security organization is currently seeking an Associate Threat Detection Content Developer to join the Monitoring, Intelligence and Response team in Hazelwood, MO; Herndon, VA; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; or Plano, TX.

Position Responsibilities:
Deliver Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and security event data supporting 24/7 security operations, incident response, and computer forensics
Identify, evaluate and document basic computing system requirements
Assist in the design, programming, build and test of delivery systems and components
Provide basic technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of delivery systems
Resolve medium and assist in resolving complex, escalated delivery systems problems
Assist in choosing appropriate computing products and methods to ensure requirements are met
Evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance
Assist in assessing suitability for integration into delivery system environments
Document work log, resolutions, analyses according to support procedures
Work with appropriate product supplier for issues and enhancements not resolved in-house
Maintain an introductory awareness of a broad set of security threats, trends, and research, with fluency in current events and standards in the security community
Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
Convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with programming languages
1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as, ACL, SQL Developer, Oracle, XML, MySQL, Python
1+ years of experience with C/C++ coding or java/python script development
Experience with endpoint controls, threat modeling, data/network diagraming, and vulnerability management operations experience through many tools used to create identification, detection, and protection in all areas assigned beyond basic information security
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current security certifications such as Security+
Experience as a systems administrator, preferably Linux and/or Unix
Experience with the software development lifecycle
Experience with developing project and software development documentation
Experience with system compliance (i.e. patching, disaster recovery, etc.)
Experience with computer networking and network protocols
Experience in at least one (1) of the following NIST Cybersecurity Framework functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $89,250 – $128,800
