Position Description/Job Responsibilities:
- The position will serve as a Project Analyst (PA) on the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) HOPE contract
- A team od PAs support the activities of Project Managers (PjMs) and receive direct tasking following a reporting chain
- The selected candidate will ensure that all Research & Development projects that are assigned to them are on-schedule, on or under budget, and are on course to deliver compliant deliverables
- The PA is responsible to the PjM for management in the following areas:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of three (3) years of Project Management and related experience
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conscientious and responsible
- A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- In depth understanding of contract management procedures and relevant legal standards
- Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation:
Pay range: $94,000 – $141,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
