About this role:We are looking for a talented individual to join and support the business credit card leadership team. The Senior Lead Strategy and Planning Consultant will be at the forefront of driving change to support the business credit card growth agenda. You will engage with the business credit card leadership team, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that deliver responsible and profitable growth. Your insights and analysis will help to identify growth opportunities, resolve constraints, and guide leadership to shape the future of Wells Fargo's business credit card business.
In this role you will be responsible for working with the business credit card leadership team, key functional partners and stakeholders to:
- Develop and maintain the business credit card strategic growth plan
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and organizational efficiency
- Develop, manage, and deliver the business credit card organizational communication strategy across all levels of the organization
- Manage a select portfolio of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives for the business credit card business
This team member will be responsible for the design and delivery of the business credit card strategic plan. The role requires a combination of strategic planning, business transformation, consulting, risk management, partner management and communications.
In this role, you will:- Serve as a trusted advisor to the business credit card leadership team, providing strategic insight to improve performance and operational efficiency, including delivering data driven recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision making
- Manage Wells Fargo partners and key stakeholders to drive accountability, identify critical dependencies, and secure commitment to deliver the business credit card strategic plan
- Lead subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop data-driven recommendations that support business credit card prioritization and strategic decision-making
- Manage the business credit card strategic roadmap, focused on improving the flow of work, capacity planning, and supporting implementation of initiatives
- Develop and implement a communications plan to achieve broad alignment on business credit card priorities and delivery objectives, including strategic updates to senior executives
- Develop and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational progress
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications- Experience leading large cross functional initiatives
- Management consulting experience or consulting experience on strategic initiatives
- Strong understanding of project management principles and standards
- Experience creating executive presentations to help inform and influence in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt to change, manage ambiguity and function in a matrixed organizational environment
- Robust data and analysis skills with a proven ability to generate actionable, data-driven recommendations and solutions
- Structured analytical thinker, problem-solver and communicator; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- experience using data to tell a cohesive story to gain alignment with key partners and senior management
- Experience working in a high pressure fast paced environment to meet competing deadlines
- Financial services experience with strong understanding of Credit Card or Retail Banking
