JOB SUMMARY
Working with the senior management team of Jabil’s Procurement and Supply Chain Services Business Unit to structure new business transactions, draft and implement supporting contracts, and manage ongoing legal issues facing the business. Supporting new acquisitions as needed by conducting due diligence reviews of applicable contracts and managing integration of new businesses into the existing legal framework of the Business Unit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting, revising (redlining), and negotiating complex global customer and supplier commercial contracts, including contracts for the provision of consulting and other services.
- Evaluating and applying privacy, information security, and international commercial laws and regulations (with an emphasis on EU / APAC regions).
- Works with limited supervision. Excels at creative problem solving, managing internal and relationships, understanding strategic vision, executing on plans and communicating challenges as they arise in a professional manner.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to VP, Legal Operations.
- Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
- May supervise professional staff or less experienced attorneys
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent oral and written communication, good judgement, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate ability to work in a changing, fast paced, and energetic environment.
- An ability to communicate well with both lawyers and non-lawyers, including senior management.
- Strong work ethic, motivated and self-starter, ability to resolve conflict, business acumen with business-oriented approach to problem solving, ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 7-12 years of legal experience (preferably in combination at a major law firm and in-house).
- Graduate of an ABA or foreign equivalent law school, member of a bar in good standing, eligible to practice law in Florida.
- Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, such as supply, development, manufacturing and channel partner agreements and other legal documents.
- Supporting sales, operations, and development organizations on a wide variety of commercial matters.
Amenable to attending team calls with business counterparts based in Singapore and Europe outside of standard US business hours.
