Associate General Counsel, Finance
Location: Corporate Headquarters, St. Petersburg, FL
Jabil Inc., a leading S&P 150 global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Finance to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Jabil’s global Treasury Department, providing strategic legal support across a wide range of financial activities—including banking and credit facilities, parent company guarantees, accounts receivable financing, and other cash management operations.
We’re looking for a proactive, innovative, and hands-on attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex financial and legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, and other primary loan documents.
- Provide legal counsel on accounts receivable financing, securitization programs, commercial paper, senior notes, hedging activities, supply chain financing, and other financial instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead legal aspects of finance transactions, helping stakeholders navigate risk while achieving business objectives.
- Analyze and advise on financial covenants, confirm authorizations, and assist with governance matters for the Treasury team.
- Develop and refine legal processes that mitigate risk while allowing Jabil to move quickly in a competitive financial landscape.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in good standing with a state bar.
- Minimum 6 years of legal experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or public company focusing on debt finance.
- Strong expertise in financial transactions, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of business acumen with a practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, partner effectively with colleagues, and navigate complex negotiations.
