What does a successful Senior User Experience Designer do at Fiserv?
As a passionate User Experience (UX) Designer you’ll join our dynamic team within the Digital Experience Office (DXO) at Fiserv to enhance the digital experience for our clients and users by creating intuitive, user-centered designs across various products and platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall product strategy and user experience.
You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility. You will also plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate design effectiveness as well as gather user feedback and analyze test results to make data-driven recommendations for design improvements.

What you will do:
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Analyze research findings to inform design decisions and create user personas and journey maps
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
- Collaborate with the Director of User Experience and other team members to iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a collaborative design environment
- Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, user flows, and style guides, to ensure clarity and consistency across projects
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of user-centered design
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX design, and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of learning and innovation
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in user experience design, preferably in a digital product environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Fintech/payments domain experience
- Experience with AI technology
- Agency experience
- 5+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
