What does a successful Implementation Consultant do at Fiserv?
As an Implementation Consultant at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients adapt to and leverage our innovative solutions. Working with a collaborative team environment, you will ensure the successful deployment of our products and services. You will be actively involved in translating client requirements into effective configurations, providing training, and ensuring a seamless transition. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and client success.
What you will do:
- Gather client configuration and process requirements with the client
- Test upgrades, enhancements, configuration changes, and code fixes
- Develop detailed internal test plans and schedules
- Conduct internal and external project meetings and provides updates to project team
- Collaborate with other project team members and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
- Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations
- Document new processes and procedures identified throughout the project relating to new product/feature functionality
- Performing mapping session with the client to transfer data from the client’s legacy system into the Commercial Center application
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
- 4+ years of experience in implementing software solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in project management for software implementations.
- 4+ years of experience in conducting client training sessions.
- Flexibility to support occasional weekend testing or production events.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
What would be great to have:
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- 5+ years of experience with Fiserv products and solutions.
- 5+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in data migration and integration projects.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Professional certification in project management (PMP or similar).
