About Position / Position Summary:
The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the SAP S/4 Center of Excellence to manage and run the Application Development and Data Services in Bengaluru, India.
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP technology leader who can lead day-to-day activities in software development lifecycle, technical architecture and oversee a team responsible for developing software across a diverse SAP S/4 landscape. In this role you need to manage development in an existing SAP landscape while also focusing on emerging technologies to deliver world-class solutions. This role leads the development of SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, and Workflows) objects, ensuring high-quality solutions and aligning with business needs. As the development leader, you are tasked with driving development efforts in ABAP, PI/PO, BTP, MDG and Fiori technologies supporting evolving projects/programs. The individual should have good understanding of the varying technology landscape - SAP, .Net, Java, Cloud technologies, Databases and mastery in the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile along with good knowledge of the supply chain fulfillment domain to help in accelerated solution delivery.
The individual is expected to be an expert in global organization management with the ability to handle team members dispersed across multiple United States (US) sites as well as other global locations outside of US. strong business acumen and excellent partnership skills are of paramount to work in demanding and highly skilled work environment to collaborate and influence people and decisions from the stakeholders and other IT divisions. The role reports to the executive director and the individual is expected to lead a team of Senior Managers and individual contributors in higher levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and mid-level managers
Drive end to-end technical design, and in collaboration with delivery team’s realization and deployment activities across the enterprise and SI’s
Adopt and establish standards, best practices and processes as needed towards design high quality functional and technical solutions
Drive governance of the technical design and development standards
Measure, track, and correct outcomes based on metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), user-experience, and customer satisfaction
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
15+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
15+ years of experience within information technology
10+ years of experience in organization management
15+ years of experience working within a global development teams.
5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change in SAP S/4 environment
Extensive experience in SAP RICEFW development, with a strong understanding of ABAP programming, SAP architecture, and SAP modules.
Able to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
15+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
15+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) systems
Extensive experience in SAP RICEFW development, with a strong understanding of ABAP programming, SAP architecture, and SAP modules
5+ years of experience in SAP RICEFW development, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
5+ years of proficiency in ABAP, BADI, BAPI, IDOC, OData, Fiori, CDS Views and other relevant SAP technologies
Certification in SAP Activate methodology and/or SAP BTP
