This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Project Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be a Project Manager managing facilities maintenance, update, and construction projects. Duties will include:
- Developing detailed project plans, ensuring resources are available and timelines are feasible.
- Budgeting and cost management to keep the project within the financial constraints.
- Contract administration including negotiation and oversight of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Quality control checks to deliver projects that meet all the agreed specifications.
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team and resolve conflicts.
- Ensuring all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly observed.
- Reporting regularly on the project status to executives and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management for facilities engineering projects.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor of Science in related field or equivalent experience demonstrated through 10 years of related work.
- PMP or FMP certification.
- Proven project management experience for projects related to facilities management.
- Experience managing schedule and budget for construction projects.
- Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management and project scheduling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management or related area
Basic Compensation:
$114,400 - $171,600
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
