What does a successful Fiserv Project Manager do?
Within Professional Services in our Bank Solutions Business, you will have the opportunity to partner with key business stakeholders to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. You will focus on planning, coordinating, and monitoring large-scale scope and budget projects. Previous experience with client-facing projects that span multiple business units or functional areas is deeply valuable.
What you will do:
- Provide a holistic view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders
- Define the overall scope by building and maintaining a consolidated timeline
- Identify and communicate dependencies and impacts to ensure ongoing control
- Define governance, outline roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and critical issue paths
- Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively lead to expected outcomes
- Actively communicate progress on an ongoing basis, ensuring visibility throughout the lifecycle
- Facilitate alignment and approach for all related Fiserv business areas to meet One Fiserv objectives
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in driving large-scale projects in a matrixed environment
- 4+ years of experience utilizing Project Management tools such as MS Project, Visio, and Power Point
- 5+ years of relevant consulting experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States
What would be great to have:
- 5+ years of experience in the banking, financial services, and/or software industries
- 5+ years of experience within a Professional Services department
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
