MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Software Developer to join our team in
Lexington Park, MD. This is an
onsite position.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.
- Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, by applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Updating software or enhancing existing software capabilities.
- Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, as well as develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Maintaining databases within an application area, working independently or as part of a development team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT discipline from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of relevant software development experience
- Must have proficient understanding of Agile S/W development
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior Computer Network Architecture background is preferred
- Experience developing and/or updating software associated with Navy weapons or software of associated systems
Clearance Requirements
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements
- Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
