MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team in
California, MD. This is an
on-site, and part time position.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Managing warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling
- Coordinate and track material movement in support of DoD projects, including 1149 transfer documentation
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards and company policies
- Ensure proper storage, packaging, and transportation of equipment and materials
- Monitor and enforce shipping and receiving protocols for accuracy and efficiency
- Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
- Train staff on safe warehouse practices; ensure ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Coordinate with program and logistics teams to meet operational needs
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations supporting DoD projects
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures and DoD Form 1149 transfers
- Knowledge and experience with AS9100 standards and compliance
- Obtain and maintain forklift truck driver certification within 6 months of hire according to OSHA 1910.178
- Obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Current and active forklift certification
- Current and active DOT medical card
Clearance Requirements
- US Citizenship required and a Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the workday
- The ability to frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations with ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The ability to operate a computer, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The ability to operate a motorized passenger vehicle or equipment is an essential function of this role.
