About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead a newly developed Finance Transformation Flex Team that provides critical support across strategic initiatives, staff augmentation, and testing programs. This role will be responsible for building and managing a hybrid team of FTEs and contingent resources, ensuring seamless execution of systems testing, planned coverage, and high-volume period support.
A key mandate for this role is to establish and lead a highly skilled bench of SMEs who can serve as readiness response teams, deployed rapidly to absorb large, high-speed workloads that directly enable business growth. This leader will ensure that Finance is equipped with the agility and talent needed to scale during critical transformation periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Augmentation & Coverage
Establish a reliable coverage model for planned absences (LOA) and peak workload periods.
Proactively manage staff augmentation resources, ensuring readiness and knowledge transfer.
Implement matrix reporting and collaboration with functional managers to streamline approvals and workflow.
UAT & Testing Programs
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) across strategic programs including M&A integrations and cyclical processes (OE, compensation cycles, R1 & R2).
Partner with SMEs to develop test scenarios, maintain documentation, and ensure test quality.
Manage execution of low- to medium-risk bulk testing scenarios; drive automation opportunities where feasible.
High-Volume Processing & Readiness Response
Build and lead a pool of highly skilled SMEs trained as readiness response teams to step in during high-speed, large-scale work that accelerates growth.
Develop and maintain a calendar to anticipate cyclical high-volume periods (e.g., QE, YE) and proactively align coverage.
Deploy flexible workforce capacity quickly to ensure uninterrupted execution during surges or strategic accelerations.
People Leadership & Talent Strategy
Build and manage a hybrid workforce of internal FTEs and SMEs, reducing dependency on contingent staff.
Drive career development and internal mobility opportunities within the Finance Transformation function.
Foster strong alignment with senior leadership to ensure transparency of roles, priorities, and accountability.
About You
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Finance, Transformation, or related functions with demonstrated leadership in program delivery.
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing both FTEs and contingent resources.
Strong background in systems testing, UAT execution, and process transformation.
