What does this role look like?
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Project Engineer Staff, to support the D5LE Sustainment Program Office.
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
- Control Account Manager for several Program Office accounts
- Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while effectively influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Supporting major program reviews, providing executive level communications and interfacing frequently with the customer and LM leadership
- Providing direct support to LE Program Managers to include: program budget prioritization, special projects requiring cross-functional integration, and strategic improvement projects
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven orientation towards action and driving projects forward to completion
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL. , and be expected to work in the office as neededBasic Qualifications:To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Previous Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program experience
• Experience leading teams with an ability to influence others and drive action without direct authority over them
• 6+ years of professional experience
• Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts
• Experience interfacing with US Government contract officials
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and
be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills including analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of critical program projects and deliverables
• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Operations and experience with Subcontracts, Material Cost Estimating or Operations/Planning
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
