Amentum is seeking a Transition Manager Senior to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities
- Leads the planning and execution of contract transitions, overseeing all Transition-In and Transition-Out activities to minimize service disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
- Develops and implements structured transition plans, aligning processes with contractual requirements and Government expectations.
- Directs knowledge transfer initiatives, coordinating with incumbent teams, Government personnel, and new contractors to facilitate the seamless integration of ongoing projects and responsibilities.
- Manages the identification and transfer of key project management processes, technical documentation, personnel roles, and operational milestones to maintain program stability throughout the transition period.
- Oversees stakeholder engagement during transition phases, conducting weekly status meetings to track progress, address risks, and align activities with transition schedules.
- Coordinates contractor-to-contractor collaboration, managing the transfer of personnel, systems, and mission-critical assets.
- Leads the refinement of transition strategies based on risk assessments, process evaluations, and Government feedback, optimizing methodologies for future contract transitions.
- Directs the finalization and archival of transition documentation, maintaining records of knowledge transfers, project statuses, and key operational metrics to support audit readiness and contractual compliance.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 10-15 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
