Amentum is seeking a Training Readiness & Exercise (TREX) Planner SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the Task 3 Lead responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of enterprise-wide Intelligence Training Development and Delivery processes, standards, tools, and documentation across ARNG G-2 and its strategic partners.
- Directs the design, execution, and continuous refinement of intelligence training programs, system integration exercises, and operational readiness support, ensuring alignment with ARNG G-2 mission objectives and evolving operational needs.
- Leads the development and delivery of Programs of Instruction (POIs), devices, materials, and simulation-based environments spanning multiple intelligence disciplines, including All-Source, GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, and OSINT.
- Oversees curriculum development, incorporating advanced methodologies such as Publicly Available Information (PAI) exploitation, system sustainment training, and foreign language sustainment training into instructional design.
- Manages the delivery of Mobile Training Team (MTT) deployments, CONUS and OCONUS training support, and major intelligence exercise participation, including Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations, Warfighter Exercises, and mobilization training events.
- Oversees the development and sustainment of Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) training environments, Full Motion Video (FMV) analyst training programs, and Intelligence Systems configuration and sustainment support.
- Leads development of emerging threat training, cybersecurity risk management instruction, and simulation-based cyberspace and Electronic Warfare (EW) training programs, supporting Tier III and IV pre-mobilization requirements.
- Facilitates application hosting, development, and testing efforts outside traditional DoD networks, managing secure, scalable environments for research, tool integration, and software validation.
- Drives training program evaluation efforts by developing performance metrics, measuring program effectiveness, and refining instructional strategies to strengthen intelligence readiness.
- Engages with senior ARNG G-2 leadership, strategic partners, and operational stakeholders to integrate intelligence training modernization efforts, support security protocols, and deliver comprehensive training and operational support services across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 15+ years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
