Amentum is seeking a Mission Systems Manager SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the Task Lead with responsibility for developing, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of enterprise-wide logistics, sustainment, engineering, prototyping, modeling and simulation (M&S), and technology innovation processes across ARNG G-2 and its strategic partners.
- Directs lifecycle sustainment operations by managing the procurement, inventory, maintenance, fielding, and disposal of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) across CONUS and OCONUS locations in accordance with DoD, Army, Theater, and ARNG G-2 directives.
- Leads the development of integrated lifecycle logistics support plans, overseeing field services, on-site maintenance, sustainment-level support, and property accountability documentation to maintain operational readiness.
- Guides technical insertion efforts, managing engineering support, systems integration, testing, and INFOSEC initiatives to field new Multi-Intelligence (MI) solutions, Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), and technical advancements.
- Oversees DevSecOps-aligned software development activities, integrating cloud-based solutions, automation pipelines, and agile delivery methodologies to rapidly deploy mission capabilities.
- Directs prototyping efforts by developing and integrating hardware, software, and COTS/GOTS products into operational systems to support evolving intelligence operations.
- Leads the development and execution of modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions, including immersive training environments, modernization assessments, and rapid prototyping simulations, enhancing operational readiness and system sustainment planning.
- Guides the evaluation, integration, and fielding of emerging technologies, applying advanced data management, cybersecurity measures, and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to strengthen training, operational capabilities, and mission success.
- Engages with senior ARNG G-2 leadership and strategic partners to refine modernization strategies, optimize resource allocation, and drive innovation across intelligence operations, sustainment, and technology development.
- Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions. This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 15+ years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
