Amentum is currently seeking a Logistician Analyst III in support of the Forensic Exploitation Department (FXD). This position is responsible for the planning, acquisition, receiving, unpacking, inspecting, assembly, installation, dismantlement, re-packing, loading for shipment, and transportation of all materials for delivery to FXD and the forward deployed Forensic Exploitation Laboratories.
Required Qualifications:
- Assist the customer with the shipment of potential medical or hazardous material of reagents used for forensic exploitation within the laboratories. Ensure all aspects of the
transportation and storage of these materials remain complaint with all DoD transportation regulations, directives, technical and doctrinal publications, policy and instructions.
- Assist the customer with developing of budget forecasting and justifications for the transportation of material for input to the laboratories operational budget.
- Assist the customer in negotiating and updating Memorandum of Agreements(MOA) with other commands and services. The Government customer will be the approval authority on all MOA’s or agreements with external entities.
- Five (5) years of experience in the planning, execution, inventorying, storage and warehouse operations for the worldwide deployment of equipment and personnel.
- Experience with military logistics and supply chain procedures and processes for sea, air, and ground transportation
- Experience with policy and procedures for the handling, transporting, and storage of hazardous material
- Experience in the documentation of logistical plans, policies and procedures.
- Ability to safely operate forklift and Box Truck
- Position requires varying amounts of sitting, standing, walking and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport
- Must be able to complete and pass a medical assessment per customer requirements
