Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager Journeyman to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities
- Manages software and hardware configuration changes for the A-Sight Management Portal by identifying, organizing, and controlling updates to the system.
- Supports version management, system builds, backup and recovery processes, archiving, and change management to maintain system integrity and operational efficiency.
- Assists the Knowledge Management (KM) team in maintaining version control and implementing additional features such as workflows, document storage structures, and user access configurations.
- Coordinates and documents configuration change processes, ensuring compliance with system requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Facilitates system auditing and reporting, providing insights into configuration changes, system performance, and version history.
- Collaborates with developers, administrators, and stakeholders to streamline portal enhancements while minimizing risks associated with system modifications.
- Supports process improvement initiatives by maintaining detailed configuration documentation and ensuring effective change tracking throughout the A-Sight platform lifecycle.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- 4-9 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
