What you will do:
- Client facing role that represents Incident, Problem and Change management processes, communications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and manage technical production environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Implement and maintain production control processes and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deploy reliable and scalable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for system administration, security, and configuration management.
- Document production control policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production systems.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in technical production control or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- 4+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
- 4+ years of experience with production automation tools like Control-M or Autosys.
- 4+ years of experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios).
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- 4+ years of experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Certification in ITIL or a recognized certification in production control standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
