KBR is seeking a Functional Support Analyst, Microsoft Dynamics FinOps, to join our corporate Enterprise Systems Team (EST) in Houston, TX, and play a pivotal role in the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of KBR’s global MS Dynamics D365 ERP system. Reporting into the Enterprise Systems leadership, this individual will serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring business processes, internal controls, and system integrations operate seamlessly within the KBR infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external customers to translate business needs into effective ERP solutions, with a particular focus on Finance & Operations, Project Operations, and Invoice Capture modules. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise to high-impact projects in a collaborative, forward-looking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current MS Dynamics D365 ERP system to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for optimization
- Gather, understand, and document functional and non-functional requirements for change initiatives, translating them into clear user stories ready for development
- Create AS-IS and TO-BE process maps and user stories to support system transition and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system capabilities
- Evaluate existing system configuration, provide impact analysis for proposed changes, and guide configuration adjustments to meet business needs
- Document and maintain detailed configuration and workflow documentation to ensure system integrity and knowledge continuity
- Design, implement, and maintain workflows within the ERP system to support efficient business operations
- Provide day-to-day system support and administration, including activities related to ERP upgrades and enhancements
- Investigate and resolve system issues, determining root cause and managing resolution through to completion
- Develop functional design documentation for IT development, ensuring clarity and alignment with business requirements
- Produce test scenarios, scripts, and documentation to support promotion to production lifecycle for enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrades
- Create, maintain, and deliver user training materials and guides, leveraging best practices and modern delivery methods for small and large audiences
- Collaborate with reporting teams to ensure all internal reports meet business requirements and provide actionable insights
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting or implementing ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations
- Proven experience supporting large user groups and driving system adoption across diverse teams
Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of MS Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations modules, including Finance & Operations, Project Operations, and Invoice Capture
- Good working knowledge of IT technologies, system configuration, workflows, and integrations
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of methodically identifying and resolving system and process issues
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, collaborating continuously to gather and refine requirements while keeping stakeholders at the heart of design and implementation
- Ability to translate complex technical or data concepts into clear, actionable guidance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server database technologies, including high proficiency in SQL
- Experience analyzing complex programs, including identifying risks, dependencies, issues, and benefits
- Broader IT knowledge beyond MS Dynamics D365, including system configuration, workflows, and integrations
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
