We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer who is responsible for directing and overseeing the facilities operations and maintenance functions on site. This role ensures that all facility systems operate efficiently and effectively, and that maintenance policies and procedures are implemented to support site operations. The Facility Engineer will provide technical guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and create and review electrical design drawings and one line diagrams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Directs daily operations and long-term planning of all facility electrical services.
- Manages engineering and central plant operations to ensure energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
- Coordinates with O&M and Plant teams to ensure emergency preparedness of the facility.
- Collaborates with O&M teams, ensuring timely and effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Provides technical support to internal teams and leadership for infrastructure-related decisions.
- Oversees electrical aspects of construction and renovation projects from design through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Develops, interprets, and implements facility maintenance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Creates and reviews electrical design documentation and submittals.
- Makes redline updates to site drawings.
- Creates and updates electrical one line diagrams.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- 8 – 12 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems.
- Proven ability to lead technical research and product development, including system architecture, hardware design, and prototyping.
- Deep understanding of electrical system design and design implementation.
- Experience in troubleshooting building electrical systems.
- Ability to resolve highly complex, multi-disciplinary technical problems across electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and clients on technical strategy and results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognized subject matter expert (SME).
- PE (Professional Engineer) certification
- Experience with electrical construction, systems integration, and testing in field environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
