Amentum is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager in Kuwait.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interfacing with government officials on diverse issues and problems and working to resolve operational issues and problems.
Assisting in the resolution of Linguist issues, ensuring accountability and overseeing accurate payroll data collection by Linguists.
Supporting the Site Lead with identifying issues as well as resolving issues that have been escalated when necessary while also ensuring effective and timely communications with all appropriate parties.
Providing operational, administrative, and management oversight to all Valiant and subcontractor linguists in the assigned area of operation.
Managing day-to-day actions to ensure Valiant is providing quality service and support to the customer in all operational areas.
Communicating any new changes, requirements, concerns, and issues to all applicable parties without delay.
Conducting daily meetings with the customer to ensure that expectations are appropriately managed and that all requirements defined by the SOW are met.
Coordinating with the Site Lead and/or customer to support Linguist schedules and travel.
Ensuring the Linguist 's health, morale, and welfare requirements are met.
Ensuring Linguists adhere to established customer regulations and standards of conduct.
All other duties/responsibilities as assigned and deemed necessary by the customer.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Military training/experience
8-10 years of diverse management experience with excellent communication, analytical, project management, and supervisory skills.
An active TS/SCI clearance with ability to maintain for the duration of the assignment
Familiar with military customs, courtesies, and procedures
Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work long hours for extended periods
Work and travel in austere environments
US citizen with current U.S. passport
Must be able to work in a sitting position for eight or more hours per day.
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed.
Must be able to travel to job locations by automobile and commercial airline.
Must be able to wear appropriate chemical and ballistic protective gear as required in a war hazard zone.
Experience managing linguist personnel.
Position may require travel.
