Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver comprehensive medical care to employees and client personnel. This role involves assessing urgent health needs, providing treatment within the scope of licensure, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver medical services in alignment with PA/NP licensure and organizational protocols.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with urgent or emergent health concerns and develop realistic care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in accordance with established guidelines and state regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy laws and organizational standards.
Identify and document physical and mental health symptoms.
Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills in daily clinical decision-making.
Independently prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education, particularly in emergency medical care.
Oversee financial reconciliation processes and ensure consistent application of contract charges.
Uphold patient privacy and safety through proper infection control, medication administration, and equipment handling.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as a PA or NP.
Active, unrestricted US State license
Ability to meet credentialing requirements
Required Certifications
Current NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC certification.
Active, unrestricted U.S. state license with no pending disciplinary actions; must be favorably credentialed.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required prior to deployment.
All certifications must be current.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with standard medical practices and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to plan and achieve goals using sound clinical judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common office equipment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs, including shift adjustments.
Minimum of 6 months recent clinical experience in patient care within the past year.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport (with at least 6 months before expiration).
Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
Must pass a background check and/or obtain a Secret security clearance as required by the contract.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Must be medically and dentally cleared per KBR guidelines or client directives.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Work is primarily performed in office or clinical environments; air travel is required.
