KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- The resource will lead the execution of an IT SOX testing engagement.
- Duties include sending out document request lists, collecting evidence, and following up with the client when documentation is missing.
- Additional tasks involve testing IT Automated Controls and General IT Controls.
- Control deficiencies must be documented accurately and thoroughly.
- Work papers prepared by both onshore and offshore team members must be reviewed for completeness and quality.
- Review comments should be cleared in a timely manner to maintain engagement momentum.
- Status updates must be reported to the client and the engagement manager or partner.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT SOX, including testing of automated controls and general IT controls.
- Experience conducting walkthroughs and controls testing.
- Must be able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Must have prior project management experience to coordinate and oversee engagement activities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
