Overview
Job Summary: The Lead Valet is responsible for overseeing valet operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the safety and efficiency of vehicle handling. This role includes supervising valet attendants, training new staff, and acting as the primary point of contact for guests and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Vehicle Handling - Greet guests promptly and courteously.
- Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas.
- Assist guests with luggage and directions.
- Ensure vehicle keys are securely stored and tracked.
Leadership & Supervision - Act as a role model for valet staff, promoting professionalism and teamwork.
- Provide guidance and direction to valet attendants.
- Adjust daily work schedules and reassign duties as needed.
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve service issues.
Training & Development - Train new and current employees on valet procedures and customer service standards.
- Monitor and document progress during training periods.
- Provide constructive feedback and retraining when necessary.
Operational Support - Maintain traffic flow in valet lanes and drop-off areas.
- Monitor illegal parking and ensure driveway remains clear.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and supervisors.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in valet or hospitality preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely.
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
