Key Responsibilities:
- With general autonomy, manages implementation of the MTS IR&D program in support of growth team goals, developing, communicating, and implementing processes and supporting tools and methods.
- Develops, analyzes and models program data and operational metrics to enable reporting and decision making.
- Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes and reports on forecasts that affect the industry/organization.
- Ensures research and design methodologies meet established corporate policy, scientific and engineering standards.
- Individual Contributor recognized as a Senior Expert. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies. Requires specialized depth of expertise in own discipline.
- Anticipates internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory/compliance issues.
- Recommends process, product, or service improvements.
- Solves unique and complex problems that requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
- May advise teams and manage projects with broad visibility to achieve milestones and objectives.
- Develops the strategy for project execution.
- Typically operates with broad latitude in a complex environment.

- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
Required Qualifications:
- Active SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in related technical field and at least 20 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in related technical field.
