What does a successful Director of Operations do at Fiserv?
This Director of Operations role is a key role in the Fiserv Output Solutions business unit within Fiserv, which delivers business-critical communications, direct marketing, and payment card solutions for thousands of companies in the financial services, healthcare, billing, utility, insurance, lending, retail, travel, entertainment and other industries.
As the leader of our Omaha production facility, you will report to the Vice President Operations and be responsible for managing the 24/7/365 print production operation. Using Lean and Six Sigma approaches and techniques, you will focus on exceeding client service levels while improving the cost, efficiency, profitability and quality of the work being produced within the operation.
What you will do:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a culture of inclusion, teamwork and accountability
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production processes and meet production targets
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures related to statement and invoice production, including health and safety, environmental, and client regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with various departments, including quality assurance, engineering, and logistics, to ensure flawless operations
- Manage budget and expenses, making cost-effective decisions to maximize profitability
- Address client needs, incorporate changes, and explore new business opportunities with a proactive approach
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
- 8+ years of experience working in a production/operations environment with progressive levels of responsibility
- 5+ years of experience in a management capacity
- 5+ years of experience in client engagement and delivery
What would be great to have:
- Experience running a statement and invoice print operation or experience in a similar field
- Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or business management
- Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma processes

Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity
- May require travel to other locations within the Omaha area and other print locations, up to 10%
