About Your Role
As a Telecom Process Engineer, you will work closely with network engineering, client service partners, sales, application and development teams to design, implement, and automate new ways of implementing the enterprise network. is a self-directed and highly autonomous networking professional. You will use your excellent communication, both written and verbal, and project coordination skills to develop best practices, refine operational procedure, and constantly think pro-actively and with innovation.
What you’ll do:
- Design, coordinate, and document the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the business
- Research, evaluate, and implement new advanced networking technologies
- Lead coordination efforts with both technical and non-technical peer groups to determine requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers possessing a wide range of technical knowledge
- Support innovation from the client to the Fiserv core by automating various network operation tasks through creation and maintenance of tools to deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes
- Work closely with our Network Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products
- Drive standards across the client network and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies
- Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in providing network project management in a collaborative environment
- 4+ years of experience in supporting small, medium, and large-scale networks
- 2+ years of experience building dashboards and reports using PowerBI
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Prior experience developing best practices and refining operational procedures
- Prior experience with network implementation and design
- Demonstrated innovation and proactive thinking in network engineering
- Experience interacting with management, peers, and customers
