CUAS Engineer

We are seeking a CUAS Engineer to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on CUAS solutions.
- Creating systems to jam, disrupt, or neutralize UAS, including hardware and software solutions.
- Analyzing the performance of counter-UAS systems and optimizing their design for effectiveness.
- Integrating counter-UAS systems with other security infrastructure and networks.
- Providing technical support and maintenance for counter-UAS systems.
- Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
- Assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or Equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship.
- Must have an active/current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or Equivalent
- Experience supporting Navy cUAS/CuXS solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to include US military personnel, GS workers and contractors
- Experience with system and hardware/software component manufacturers/suppliers, and government stakeholders
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $110,000-$165,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
