What does a successful Compliance Analyst do at Fiserv?
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be supporting the Senior Compliance Manager in the design and testing of the Regulatory Framework throughout the organisation. Specifically, the Compliance Analyst will perform 2nd line compliance monitoring, compile management information and act as a first point of contact for Data Protection related queries and should be looking to become a subject matter expert on regulations including GDPR as they apply within the payments market. This role is deemed a CF2 role under the Central Banks Fitness and Probity regime and is subject to the Individual Accountability Frameworks Conduct Standards.
What you will do:
Perform 2nd line monitoring of 1st line AML controls and maintain the related AML procedures on behalf of the Compliance Manager
Compile requested Management Information and reports for the Senior Compliance Manager and the business as required
Perform Horizon Screening on the regulatory topics including industry trends and news
Support the annual compliance planning process
Support the development and provision of training to the business on all areas of Payments Regulations, CBI guidance including the Consumer Protection Code, and Data Protection requirements from DSARs to PIA reviews.
First point of contact for: complex regulatory alerts and provide proposed guidance on same
Experience in monitoring of Complaints and Errors
Develop into a Subject Matter Expert across all typologies of payments regulations, CBI related guidance and GDPR supporting the Business (1st line) and the Compliance team (2nd line)
What you will need to have:
3+ years’ experience in Compliance, preferably in regulatory and data protection role
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and expectations for payments regulations and GDPR with a strong desire to become an expert in the regulatory requirements, guidance and industry trends for the payments market
Inquisitive and solution focussed with a drive to constantly improve and refine the Regulatory Framework
Clear, concise communication skills and experience at presenting complex subject matter in a summarised manner with proposed solutions and/or approach
LCI or Data Protection qualification would be advantageous or commitment to complete one
