Location: South East, Netherlands
The Role 
As the Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing accounts in the South East of the Netherlands, as well as the acquisition of new business, to deliver relevant solutions and achieve sales targets.
Core to the role will be establishing and developing strong relationships, leading meetings and negotiations and define revenue targets per individual customer and the full account portfolio.
You should possess experience in sales development within an industrial environment and expertise in consultative sales techniques.
What you will do:
- Account development, management and acquisition of customers within a defined territory (South-East Netherlands), maximizing account revenue and sales targets.
- Establish professional relationships with existing customers and prospect accounts, to pursue business opportunities and to protect the Company's business interests.
- Create a clear business plan for your territory with smart goals.
- Implement company procedures, business rules and tools.
- Data Capture - Ensure usage of our CRM system, Salesforce, is in line with group guidelines and that we are maintaining records such as close dates, install base, call reports etc as part of your everyday tasks.
- Use Salesforce to track area performance. Ensure that you maintain accurate and current data within Salesforce to allow automatic forecasting, business planning, customer targeting etc.
What you need to have:
- Proven track record as an Account Manager within an industrial B2B company.
- Bachelor Degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of consultative sales techniques and value selling.
- Experience in managing sales in the assigned territory.
- Experience in a CRM System reporting.
- Results driven, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely whilst maintaining own initiative and fluent and efficient communication with the line manager and the team.
- Availability to travel on a regular basis.
- Fluent Dutch and English.
