Informated Software Solutions, based in Rockville, Maryland, has supported the Smithsonian Institution for over 20 years. We’re expanding to help this great organization enhance its Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.
This full-time position can be remote, hybrid, or onsite in Washington, D.C. Occasional meetings at Smithsonian facilities may be required. Preferred candidates are located within approximately a four-hour range of Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine support for production and sandbox environments, including platform configuration, permissions, security, custom objects, and flows. Manage user access and resolve technical issues.
- Standardize and clean up Salesforce data, including migrated and imported records, to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Build and enhance Flows and other declarative solutions following best practices, with clear documentation or training as needed.
- Use Salesforce automation tools to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
- Understand customer operations, capture requirements, and design and implement effective Salesforce solutions.
- Migrate data from legacy systems into Salesforce with proper mapping, validation, and quality checks.
- Document all configurations and customizations, including objects, fields, validations, Flows, Apex, and Lightning components.
- Monitor and maintain the Salesforce environment for scalability, performance, and proper documentation.
- Work with Salesforce and third-party app vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer or related engineering fields or significant related work experience required.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (current).
- 7+ years of Salesforce administration with demonstrated delivery of enhancements and solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or museum/nonprofit environments preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a standard federal background check.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
