Overview
The Janitorial Services Supervisor oversees the cleaning and maintenance operations within an educational institution. This role ensures that facilities are safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards. The supervisor manages janitorial staff, coordinates schedules, and monitors quality of service delivery.
Pay: $22.00/hour

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate janitorial staff.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas are cleaned according to standards.
- Coordinate deep cleaning and special projects during breaks or events.
Compliance & Safety:
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain documentation for inspections and compliance audits.
Inventory & Resource Management:
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment; process purchase orders.
- Ensure proper use and storage of chemicals and tools.
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Prepare work schedules and adjust staffing for peak periods.
- Collaborate with school administration for event setups and emergency needs.
Reporting:
- Maintain records of work orders, staff attendance, and maintenance issues.
- Provide regular reports to management on operations and improvements.
Qualifications - Must have Valid State Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities services.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety regulations, and equipment handling.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
