What You Will Do:
Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to:
-
Familiarization with the Patriot Defense System and its technical, operational, and sustainment capabilities.
-
Gain exposure to Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Product Support capabilities and functional areas, including but to limited to Specialty and Field Engineering, Training and Technical Publications, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
-
Participate in hands-on training and engagements to develop a working knowledge of program financial management, including budget planning, cost analysis, and tracking financial performance against program objectives.

Apply EVM concepts and techniques in a practical setting to reinforce learning and successfully earn the Raytheon Earned Value (EV) Certification.

Complete introductory program management (PM) training modules and assessment requirements to successfully earn the Raytheon PM Certification - Level 7
What You Will Learn:

Program Management Skills: Develop foundational knowledge of project planning, resource management, and lifecycle program management processes.

Contract and Schedule Analysis: Understand key program artifacts, including contracts, schedules, and deliverables, and how they align with program milestones.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Learn how different functions—engineering, supply chain, training, and logistics—work together to deliver program success.

Compliance and Security: Acquire knowledge of RTX Global Trade compliance, security protocols, and contractual alignment.

Financial Management Basics: Explore budgeting, cost tracking, and financial performance within large-scale defense programs
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree
-
Previous management or leadership experience leading matrixed and geographically dispersed teams across both domestic and international locations.
-
Experience with international operations, including managing cross-border teams, navigating global business practices, adhering to international regulations, and fostering relationships with stakeholders in multinational environments.
-
Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical skills, complemented by excellent business communication and presentation abilities.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and common program management tools / systems (PMX, Risk Register, etc.).

Familiarity with business-related cost control systems and their application in tracking project performance, managing budgets, and ensuring cost and schedule alignment.
-
Experience in developing and reviewing project artifacts such as resource plans, cost estimates, master schedules, and data-driven deliverables.
-
Experience in leading readiness and deployment operations, including planning, coordinating, and executing deployment activities, ensuring operational preparedness, and managing resources to support mission-critical objectives.
