Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Technical Trainer for a position based in Ocala, FL. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact training that empowers customers, employees, and field support personnel to master Lockheed Martin products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Technical Trainer Sr. you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving technical product training programs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel.
-Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules.
-Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
-Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
-May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests.
-Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
-May include military trainers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:-Experience tracking, trending and monitoring training compliance; and preparing routine progress reports on job specific training programs.
-Experience participating in other quality systems activities such as internal audit, inspection preparation and change control as required.
-Working knowledge of electronic and electrical industry specifications.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills:-Experience developing training materials for use in training courses, with high attention to detail/quality, role-specificity, and engaging learning experience.
-Comfortable presenting training material in a classroom setting.
-Experience in manufacturing.
-Working with all levels of the organization.
-Superior organizational skills.
-Interpretation of relevant technical documents and specifications.
-Ability to train other trainers and act as POC for the Training Department.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
