Procurement Manager for Large and Small Machining commodity suppliers

The Procurement Manager is responsible for all aspects of supplier relationships, including delivery, quality, and cost, inventory, and customer happiness.

You will lead purchase order execution and product delivery, ensuring placement of on-time schedule agreements, billing adjustments, terminations mitigation & cost reduction goals execution.

You will align with the P&W Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, and UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW).

The role also offers the opportunity to engage with the relevant Strategic Sourcing team and participate in long-term sourcing decisions.

The role of Procurement Manager also requires the cross functional interaction with Regional Office personnel such as Delivery Assurance Specialists, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR’s), MCL, ESA, Continuous Improvement Specialists, & the GWS “Buyers & Planners” providing procurement & materials management for the commodities.

Driving continuous improvement of procurement processes, including collaboration with key stakeholders and adoption of new tools

You will be responsible to ensure GWS’s quotation, cost analysis/price justification, market share appropriations, & placement of schedule agreements are completed on-time & in compliance with all appropriate regulations & procedures.

Travel required 10-20%
Qualifications you must have:
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Manufacturing/Operations or related field and 8 years of experience in supply chain, material/logistics, operations management or related field; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Aerospace Industry experience

Demonstrated leadership skills in challenging environments with the ability to work in a global supply chain organization

Deep understanding of Microsoft Office programs functionality.

Ability to communicate throughout all executive and non-executive levels of the organization

Project management experience with large, complex projects

Experience as a day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions and running reports.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
