Description:You will be the Project Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control Operations Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact facilities projects that enable Lockheed Martin’s mission success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of facilities projects across the organization. Serving as the primary liaison among Facilities, Program Management, Production Management, and functional leadership, you will develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status artifacts to ensure timely project outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Project Planning & Scheduling
o Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
o Maintain baseline schedules, track critical paths, and update forecasts in response to scope changes or risks.
- Cross Functional Coordination
o Partner with Facilities, Program Management, Production, and Engineering, teams to define requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
o Facilitate regular coordination meetings, capture action items, and close loops on decisions.
- Stakeholder Communication
o Produce and distribute regular status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Excellent organizational and project management
skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the
organization, from shop floor to executive leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills:• 2-3 years of project engineering or coordination experience on construction/facilities projects.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment for the aerospace or defense industry.
• Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of capital project planning, construction
coordination, and large-scale equipment integration.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Trained.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
