About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Renewable Energy Tax Credit Transfer Professional to join our Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance team.
In this role, you will:- Manage the sale of tax credits from renewable energy and other clean technology projects and manufacturing facilities, with credits originating from REEF's investments and from third party clients.
- Lead the closing process of a high volume of transactions including financial, commercial, and technical diligence of credit sales coordinating with legal, technical and other professionals.
- Operate effectively in a highly risk-controlled environment observing all risk management controls, policies and procedures.
- Complete work in accordance with all risk management, business process expectations, and participate in the determination of these expectations.
- Evaluate and prepare recommendations regarding developing trends in the tax credit transfer and renewable energy market.
- Work closely with deal teams to optimize salability of tax credits.
- Build out robust buying community through engagement with internal Wells Fargo personnel as well as external channels.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Environmental Investment Origination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant renewable energy experience, tax-oriented investing or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience selling/purchasing renewable energy tax credits
- Existing relationships within the corporate tax community including but not limited to tax directors and tax professionals
- Experience with renewable energy and other key areas of the energy transition finance/investing
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business or related field
- Project finance or tax-oriented investing experience
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and ability to solve complex or abstract problems
- Ability to work under own initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite-PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to understand complex legal and technical matters and communicate effectively and succinctly to a broader audience
- Familiarity or experience with AI applications

Pay Range: Pay Range: $185,000 - $300,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
