We’re seeking a highly skilled Azure engineering leader who is energized by solving complex technical challenges and building cloud solutions that scale. This role is deeply hands-on, blending architectural vision with practical engineering execution. You’ll design, build, secure, and optimize our Azure Platform using Policy, RBAC, and Functions, along with guiding teams in modern DevOps and automation practices. You’ll work as part of a talented team of Azure engineers, collaborating closely to drive cloud innovation and deliver high-quality solutions for our internal customers.
What You Will Do
In this role, you’ll help shape strategy, operational direction, and apply hands-on Azure engineering to drive real impact across our Azure Cloud Platform.

Design, build, secure, and optimize Azure environments, applying strong knowledge of Azure Architecture, Governance, Policy, RBAC, and Functions.

Lead major improvements to the Azure Cloud Platform, systems, and engineering practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible to provision, manage, and scale Azure resources consistently and securely.

Drive automation and orchestration, leveraging Python, Ansible, and other tooling to streamline workflows and reduce operational friction.

Apply DevOps methodologies to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Solve complex, ambiguous technical challenges through research, analysis, and integration of industry best practices.

Collaborate across teams and with external partners, including customers and vendors, to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality Azure-based solutions.

Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership, championing modern engineering approaches and guiding strategic Azure decisions.

Own and evolve Azure-focused strategies, ensuring your area of expertise continues to grow and deliver value to the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated mastery in Azure engineering, DevOps practices, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Python, Ansible, Powershell, Bash.

Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across engineering and business teams.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale Azure environments.

Strong background in Azure security, including Policy, RBAC, and identity governance.

Experience building or maturing CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and automated testing practices.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
