The Global Information and Records Analyst is a key contributor to the Law Strategy & Operations Function, providing comprehensive Information Governance support across global business units. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced project management, critical thinking and technical capabilities, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead and coordinate, develop, implement, and optimize all facets of the BMS Global Information and Records program, managing challenging projects while applying advanced analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Independently administer the Records Management System (Open Text/Content Manager), including the implementation and testing of new functionalities, data migrations, system reconciliation, quality reviews, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Apply advanced Records and Information Management skills to analyze business needs as well as company objectives. Collaborate and influence across global sectors on the design and enhancement of processes for accessing, storing, and managing electronic information, including evaluating and recommending innovative technologies.
- Oversee the revision and standardization of Records Management procedural documents at both the corporate and departmental levels, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support acquisition, divestiture, licensing, and workplace change projects by providing project management expertise and technical guidance.
- Develop, lead and deliver Records and Information Management training programs for the Information and Records function, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance learning outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Serve as a technical liaison with offsite storage and supply vendors, providing second-line support and driving issue resolution through root cause analysis.
- Deliver high-quality customer service via the Records Management Helpdesk and Center of Excellence, using analytical and technical skills to resolve complex inquiries and support global staff.
- Coordinate the integration and consolidation of data into the RMS system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Solicit and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in the Global Information and Records Center of Excellence, contributing analytical insights and technical expertise to cross-functional projects.
- Manage the records disposal process, including the review of Records Disposal Forms and initiation of disposal activities with suppliers, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Oversee preservation activities for physical records, applying project management discipline to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Perform additional duties and support Compliance, Ethics, and Privacy projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to organizational goals.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Certifications in the field of Records and Information Management are preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) plus years of experience in Information Governance, Records, Information Management, project management or a technical capability is required.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Advanced technical proficiency with records management systems, productivity tools, and process automation; experience with software adaptation and implementation is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
- Minimum of three to five years technical Experience with OpenText Content Suite / OpenText Document Management, SharePoint, EMC Documentum, Micro Focus Content Manager (formerly HP Records Manager or TRIM) is preferred.

Compensation Overview: Princeton - NJ - US: $75,740 - $91,773
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
