Description:You will be the Multi Functional Mfg Planner Mgr for the Production Planning & Control team. Our team is responsible for delivering precise, on‑time manufacturing support for Missiles and Fire Control programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Multi Functional Mfg Planner Mgr you will be responsible for leading the end‑to‑end planning and control function, ensuring material flow, schedule integrity, and team performance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the Production Planning and Control function for Missiles and Fire Control.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and traffic operations to guarantee timely material movement.
- Direct production control activities, aligning schedules with demand and capacity.
- Manage and develop a diverse team of leaders, exempt staff, and hourly employees.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:• Previous Leadership Experience
• Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System)
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing knowledge
• Experience assigning/managing projects to organizational unit by leading team of managers and/or staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive operational issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage functional leaders in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience working with represented/union employees
• Greenbelt certified or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
