The Boeing Company is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security & Fire Protection Multi Operations Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing daily security operations, responding to emergencies as the initial Incident Commander, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property through established protocols and procedures. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest level of protection for our organization, while fostering a culture of safety and security.
Position Responsibilities:
Leadership in Security Operations:
Oversee daily security operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures
Act as the initial Incident Commander during emergencies, coordinating response efforts and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders
Emergency Response & Incident Command:
Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are trained and prepared for various scenarios
Conduct regular drills and training sessions to enhance team readiness and response capabilities
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to and enforce company, personnel, and safety policies, ensuring compliance with certification procedures and departmental regulations
Stay updated on local laws and regulations related to emergency response and security operations
Communication & Coordination:
Interface professionally with customers, contractors, and external agencies to ensure cohesive and effective security and fire protection programs
Communicate effectively through verbal, written, and electronic methods to coordinate emergency and routine operations
Preparedness & Training:
Engage in ongoing training and certification activities to maintain expertise in security and fire protection
Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for employees on security and fire protection procedures and protocols
Risk Management:
Conduct thorough risk assessments based on trend analysis, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements to mitigate risks
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of risk management programs, processes, and procedures for the protection of company personnel, property, information, and interests
Incident Investigation & Reporting:
Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex security and fire protection incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Create detailed after-action reports and present findings to senior leadership, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future planning
Collaboration & External Relations:
Collaborate with various organizations and external agencies to enhance security programs and develop business resilience plans
Represent the organization in external security and fire protection meetings and events, fostering relationships with key stakeholders
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in security, fire protection, and/or emergency preparedness
3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
3+ years of experience with contract management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for reporting, presentations, and data analysis
Experience with auditing and familiarity with Security & Fire Operations policies and procedures
Experience with management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience guiding and training to less experienced personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Experience with badging policies, procedures, and standards
Experience conducting Service Level Assessment (SLA) reviews with service contractors, addressing service delivery issues and best practices
Experience reviewing Uniformed Security Incident Reports (USIR) and authoring/editing written security instructions and/or uniformed security post orders

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Mid-Level Summary pay range: $88,400 - $119,600
Senior Summary pay range: $111,350 - $150,650
