What You Will Do:
The Quality Engineer will support the Middletown, CT Engine Center for P&W Operations by serving as quality support working with Engineering, Customer Support, Procurement, and other functional disciplines to drive the quality signature in support of product delivery for critical high precision engine components.

Execute day-to-day quality and production deliverables and initiatives, to include prioritization and completion of parts in the PDC Quality Clinic or MRB areas.

Interface with various Engineering, Operations, and Materials groups to resolve technical/quality issues

Investigate and analyze any hardware/assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues by reviewing procedures, specifications, instructions, processes, and equipment to ensure compliance to applicable drawing, specifications, and standards in an effort to resolve Quality and Delivery concerns.

Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the P&W Management team and oversee quality improvement programs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Bachelor's Degree in in a STEM field and 2 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality, project management or related industrial environment or a Master's degree and minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality, project management or related industrial environment

Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously with ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data

Understanding of Quality related inspection, NDT, CMM, calibration and other machine shop inspection process and procedures
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Engineering degree (aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, quality)

Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems and experience using CORE tools/continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN

Experience with Solumina and SAP software
-
Familiar with PW1100 and F135 Jet engine parts

Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, & ISO

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
