As a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst, you will be part of a 24/7/365 SOC, responsible for advanced threat detection, incident analysis, and proactive threat hunting. You’ll lead containment and remediation efforts, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and continuously enhance our security posture. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for defending against evolving cyber threats.
What you´ll do
- Monitor security alerts and network traffic to detect suspicious activities using SIEM and advanced tools
- Investigate and analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead containment and remediation efforts
- Conduct proactive threat hunting for indicators of compromise (IoCs) and emerging cyber threats
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; escalate critical issues and deliver detailed reports
- Improve SOC processes, detection capabilities, and incident response playbooks
- Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge to strengthen team expertise
- Support Henkel’s global cybersecurity operations in a 24/7/365 Security Operations Center environment
