What this job involves:
As an Analyst, Financial Systems at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the integration and optimization of accounting and financial systems across our Latin American operations. This position focuses on ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance through the seamless coordination of electronic invoicing, tax reporting, and local accounting processes. You'll be at the forefront of shaping a brighter way for our clients and teams by managing complex system integrations, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring business continuity across multiple countries. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. What your day-to-day will look like:
Coordinate the integration of accounting and financial solutions provider APIs with internal JLL systems
Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams including software development, accounting, cybersecurity, and compliance stakeholders
Develop comprehensive documentation, reports, and training programs for local accounting systems implementation
Conduct requirements gathering for accounting systems and collaborate with legal and compliance teams on RFPs and contract negotiations
Implement and monitor financial reporting processes, tax declarations, and country-specific accounting requirements across Latin American markets
Track and manage tax updates and version changes in electronic invoicing systems to ensure continuous compliance
Provide technical and operational support to diagnose and resolve system incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration
Maintain operational continuity through proactive monitoring and quick resolution of technical challenges
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for accounting and financial processes across the region
Required qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, software development, or team management with focus on financial systems
1-2 years of hands-on experience with local accounting systems, electronic invoicing, and API configuration in Latin America
Proficiency in programming languages and technologies including Bubble, JavaScript React, SQL, and AWS
Fluency in both Spanish and English, written and verbal communication
Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting processes, and local financial reporting requirements in Latin American markets
Proven experience in troubleshooting, technical support, and incident management for critical systems
Demonstrated project management skills with experience in Scrum methodologies
Self-management capabilities with a proactive approach and focus on continuous process improvement
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience working in real estate or professional services industry
Additional Latin American market knowledge beyond core requirements
Certification in project management (PMP, Scrum Master, or similar)
Experience with enterprise-level financial software implementations
Background in change management and user training for financial systems
