This Component Aftermarket Integration Product Team (CAIPT) Nozzle/3 Bearing Swivel Duct (3BSM) Focal will work directly with the Nozzle/3BSM CAIPT Lead on a daily basis to develop, own, and maintain the part maintenance strategy for every part of their responsible module.
The Focal will prioritize the part maintenance and recovery strategy of Nozzle/3BSM hardware to confirm that engines and modules are available, maintainable, and affordable throughout the life cycle of the program. The Focal will handle the daily tactical efforts and action item tracking of resolutions with Customer Support, Engineering, Repairs, F135 Sustainment, and Sustainment Operations.
What You Will Do:

Understand and communicate hardware concerns to the Nozzle/3BSM CAIPT Lead with mitigation options to ensure timely resolution as well as expose gaps and identify solutions for hardware supportability

Be a proactive participant in investigations of fleet needed hardware beyond limiting factor (LIMFAC) parts.

Become an active focal for clearing out hardware from the hold for future repair (HFFR) warehouse.

Present at various meetings to update the larger audience of updates and issues on a regular basis
-
Lead Affordability and maintenance cost baselining and provide status updates to meet Program cost targets.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Bachelor’s Degree required.
-
A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering or program management.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of engineering or program management experience
-
1+ years of propulsion system sustainment experience strongly preferred

Current Security Clearance is a plus

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
