The WorkLockheed Martin RMS is seeking talented engineers looking to expand their hardware, software, and test skills by joining our Test Program Set Development and Integration Our team provides technical support for a number of aircraft and weapons systems to maximize operational readiness. Customers are both foreign and domestic and include branches of the US military.
You will be responsible for developing test programs to run on the Lockheed Martin LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS systems. Variety in work assignments is what you can expect from this position as we support RF, analog, digital, Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optics, and a variety of communication technologies. Team members work collectively as well as individually to develop software and hardware designs to support customer missions.
Day to day work involves leading a team of Test Program Set (TPS) developers and collaborating with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering to coordinate efforts required to produce a tailored work product for our customers. The successful candidate will have project and technical leadership experience, proven hardware/software integration skills, a working knowledge of standard electronics lab equipment, and good communication skills. Candidates must be able to lead development of test programs written in either PAWS ATLAS or NI TestStand and LabWindows CVI.
Some intermittent travel and shift work could be required.
This position may also involve support for research, design, and development of process improvements to maximize use and efficiency of automatic test. In this role, the engineer will be required to participate in design reviews, strategy sessions, and customer support meetings. Additionally, this role requires participation in hiring events for new personnel.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
• Expertise with electronics test, mission system integration
• Experience providing technical coaching to develop test programs for a variety of complex avionics and electronics assemblies
• Experience developing and integrating Test Program Sets
• Ability to develop hardware designs to interface with electronic systems
• Proficient with electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting, and repair
• Customer interface experience for product demonstrations and customer support
• Familiarity with hardware development, manufacturing, and integration
Desired Skills:• Test program development in TYX PAWS ATLAS, NI TestStand, NI LabWindows CVI, or NI LabVIEW
• Proposal writing skills and familiarity with TINA requirements
• Teradyne digital test programming
• VHDL programming
• FPGA experience
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and experience with Agile tools: Jira, GitLab
• Control Account Management experience
• Software builds experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
