Boeing Global Services (BGS) United States Navy (USN) Legacy Programs team is looking for a talented Senior Program Management Specialist to Lead E-6B sustainment program efforts in Oklahoma City, OK. This includes execution on a DX-A1 rated national asset (E-6B) that is critical to providing airborne command post and communications capability, with America’s nuclear missile forces throughout the world. This position requires the candidate to be skilled with program management discipline, understand aircraft maintenance and sustainment, ability to navigate a fast-paced program, strong collaboration skills, and a great can-do attitude to enable successful program execution. Position Responsibilities:
- Leads horizontal and vertical integration of the existing BGS (Government & Commercial) Capabilities along with our BCA and BDS partners to create an integrated One Boeing sustainment approach for program requirements.
- Leads coordination and execution of Sustainment & Engineering reach-back support, Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) support, material/supply chain requests, innovative support initiatives and business growth opportunities.
- Leads the team in developing execution plans and strategies consistent with ensuring the long-term sustainment and viability of the E-6B aircraft platform in the U.S. Navy Fleet
- Leads development of solutions to complex problems by using analysis, lessons learned, and historical data.
- Developing and briefing Leadership-level reports and Program status.
- Manages Risk, Issues, and Opportunities, and their associated mitigation and implementation plans
- Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction and delivery of high-quality products and services on-time and on-budget
- Leads development of Program schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plans regularly throughout lifecycle of the program or project
- Interface, communicate and develop relationships with our Navy customer and external partners in the development and implementation of customer and program communication and contact plans
- Integrates with various business units, cross functional teams, suppliers, and customers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
- Extensive knowledge with Project and Program Management (Program Management Institute theory and/or the Boeing Program Management Best Practices)
- Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with Aircraft engineering, maintenance, and parts support
- Experience working with the US government in the sustainment of aircraft
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors' degree in a related field or equivalent military experience
- Familiarity with E-6B or 707 aircraft
- Experience working with and/or managing supply chain processes and functions
- Experience managing contractual deliverables
- Experience working with US Naval platforms
- Experience presenting technical data to internal and external customers
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $174,250 - $235,750
