Description:Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) program with a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world. As a Lockheed Martin team member, you will be exposed to manufacturing and logistics operations in support of military products in a cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities include: auditing and monitoring of enterprise processes; participating in the collaboration of engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are being implemented; and performing QA Engineering metrics gathering and compiling for higher management level review.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).
- Functional use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Desired Skills:
- Technical Engineering Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
-SAP Experience
- Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ AS9100 requirements with interpretation and application experience.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
